Local Server Backup, Offsite Cloud Backup, and Server Virtualization
Install an on-site backup appliance or network-attached storage, and configure the system to provide full local backup of business-critical data. In addition, the system can periodically backup selected data offsite to secure cloud storage. We work with industry leaders in this market such as Axcient. This backup system will provide speedy restoration of local files when needed, and the cloud backup provides excellent disaster recovery from an unexpected catastrophe.
Microsoft Software Patching
Microsoft releases major security updates and software patches for Windows and Office at least once a month. They recommend that “automatic update” be enabled so that updates are automatically downloaded and installed. In practice, a number of these patches have been flawed and have disrupted network services.
